Nominate someone you know for the Dean Caddie’s Quiet Achiever in ICT Award!

The Dean Caddie’s Quiet Achiever was established in memory of Dean Caddie to recognise a Charles Darwin University (CDU) student who exemplifies the spirit of Dean Caddie. This award honours those who, often behind the scenes, consistently contribute significantly to their team or community. It celebrates their dedication, hard work, and selfless commitment to others. Like Dean, these individuals are known for their quiet leadership, positive influence, and ability to inspire those around them.

Eligibility

The nominee must be a currently enrolled on CDU’s Information Technology courses (undergraduate, postgraduate, TAFE) and must embody Dean Caddie’s traits:

Helpful and always getting things done behind the scenes


Quiet in nature and would prefer not to stand out


Possess strong technical skills


NOMINATION

A nomination, in the form of a 300-word statement addressing the selection criteria, must be submitted to Dr Thuseethan Selvarajah at thuseethan.selvarajah@cdu.edu.au

Nomination closes on 9 Oct 2024. Self-nomination is not accepted.

SELECTION AND ANNOUNCEMENT

One winner will be selected by NEC and announced at the CDU IT CodeFair 2024.
