Every year, CDU IT CodeFair brings in speakers from many areas such as “Embracing IT during COVID-19”, Building a Career with Meaning, IT Innovation and many more.

There are many challenges, competitions, and activities for students in the NT, CDU IT students, IT students from other institutions in Australia.

Each year, challenges are unique and set by NT Government or local IT companies. Students receive a hands-on experience in trying to solve real-world challenges.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The CDU IT CodeFair is an annual event that was founded by the Department of Information Technology of Charles Darwin University and is sponsored by the Northern Territory Government and the local IT companies. The event was founded in 2014 to provide opportunities, to encourage and advocate students’ talents showcasing their work more broadly to the University and industry communities.

 

CDU IT CodeFair composes of various competitions and real-time challenges for students to showcase their passion and skills to develop practical solutions. The event also includes a series of workshops for middle school and high school students, and university students as well as conducting speed dating for current and future graduates in the local IT industry.
