Make yourself stand out by submitting your best coding project to be evaluated by industry judges. Entrants may submit
an outstanding coding project from previous assignments at CDU or develop a new coding project. Team or individual submissions are welcome.
You will showcase your project to industry and academic judges in person or online at
CDU IT CodeFair Sydney 2025 on TBA, Level 8, CDU Sydney Campus, 815 George Street, Haymarket NSW.
Your submission will be assigned and evaluated in one of the following categories:
Proficient Coders Category
For entrants who have completed more than 120 credit points in their CDU IT courses at the beginning of Semester 2, 2025.
Capable Coders Category
For entrants who have completed 80 to 120 credit points in their CDU IT courses at the beginning of Semester 2, 2025.
Developing Coders Category
For entrants who have completed less than 80 credit points in their CDU IT courses at the beginning of Semester 2, 2025.

Eligibility
All students who are currently enrolled on CDU’s Information Technology courses (undergraduate, postgraduate)
Awards
A winner and a runner-up will be selected for each coding experience level.
Judging Criteria
Submissions will be judged according to several criteria such as innovation, functionality, usability, scalability, etc. More detailed rubrics will be updated on this page, stay tuned.
